Understanding Sin From The Highest Divine Perspective of Supreme Source Light

Years ago, I recall hearing a sermon where the pastor defined sin as separation, and it was the first time I had heard it described that way in my time seeking and following the teachings of Christ Yeshua. It was a pivotal, lightbulb moment that allowed me to begin releasing the condemnation that typically is associated with what my perceived actions of sin were. From the lens of Divine Truth, sin is not a moral failure or eternal punishment. Rather, it is the illusion of separation from Christ, God, Source, or the Universe of All Creation. It is the moment when we forget who we truly are…. beings of infinite light, created in perfect love and unity. In the highest sense, sin is not something we are judged for, but something we are invited to awaken from. It is the misalignment between the soul’s divine nature and the human experience of fear, shame, guilt, and ego-based perception. This is the journey of being human.

The Spiritual Essence of Sin

Sin arises whenever we act, think, or feel from a place disconnected from love. When we judge others, we judge ourselves; when we withhold compassion, we deny our divine reflection. Sin is therefore not about breaking rules, it’s about forgetting the truth of our oneness with all that exists.

From a universal perspective:

  • Sin is separation, not evil. It represents the moment when consciousness turns away from unity and love, creating the illusion of division within the self and between souls.

  • Forgiveness is remembrance, not permission. True forgiveness is not about excusing a behavior or condoning harm; it is about remembering that beneath all human error lies divine innocence. When we forgive, we realign with the truth that we and others have always been one with God. Forgiveness dissolves the illusion of separation to enable the soul remembrance of love.

  • Healing is return, or better stated, remembrance of our wholeness. Healing does not occur through suffering or condemnation. It is the natural return to harmony when we reawaken to divine truth. In every act of healing, we return home…. to balance, to peace, to love. What appears as pain or loss in the process of healing is not punishment; it is the shedding of illusions so that the light of wholeness may be restored.

To sin, in essence, is to step out of harmony with Divine Love. To awaken is to realign with it. The essence of healing and forgiveness is the remembrance that love never left. it was only forgotten.

Sin as an Invitation to Remember

GOD does not condemn; it calls us home. Every perceived mistake, every shadowed thought, and every unkind action is an opportunity to return to love, to remember truth, and to restore balance within ourselves.

Through this lens, sin becomes a teacher. A mirror, revealing where light is needed. It is not something to fear, but something to understand with compassion.

The Role of Choice and Awareness

Each moment grants us the power of choice: to act from fear or to act from love. Sin occurs when our awareness contracts and we forget our divine inheritance. Yet, the moment we choose love again, the illusion of sin dissolves, and our alignment with Source is restored.

Thus, free will is not a test, it is a divine gift, allowing us to consciously create in harmony with love.

Transcending Sin Through Love

True transcendence of sin does not come from guilt or penance, but from acceptance, forgiveness, and love. When we hold ourselves and others in compassion and extend grace, especially when it is contradictory to our natural instincts, we rise beyond judgment and reconnect with divine truth. We see sin not as a mark of unworthiness, but as a moment of forgetting our wholeness and our holiness.

In returning to love through awareness and forgiveness, sin loses its power. It transforms into understanding, wisdom, and peace.

Final Thoughts: Remembering Our Innocence

Supreme GOD, the Universal Source of Divinity sees all souls as innocent. Sin does not define us, it refines us. Through the journey of remembering, forgiving, and loving again, we become more fully who we have always been: divine expressions of infinite love. As we remember how to love unconditionally and forgive those who may have hurt us, including ourselves, we automatically create greater peace within that we may have denied because of the sin itself, and step into greater wholeness.

Affirmation: "I forgive myself and anyone who has hurt me, or who I have blamed. I release my hurt and receive Divine Unconditional Love. I am whole, forgiven, and one in Divine Unconditional Love."
